Gonna be honest, I was hesitant when I saw the Pico day banners yesterday, but having finally checked out what the hubbub was all about. Considering how rough the last few years were for the game, concerning the lack of information on the game and its kickstarter; not to mention the rabid fanbase it has (to the point I ended up jumping ship like...what...2 years ago? Because fuck that shit lmao), I was hesitant to return to the game. But to my absolute surprise and delight, it did far more than bring me back to the game I loved in 2021. It reignited my love and passion for the one thing that got me into rhythm games and video games in general: music.

I really enjoyed the animations before the Week End battles, though I had to watch them myself since my gaming skills are really not up to par, sadly. I enjoyed the Erect mixes as well and was completely surprised and overjoyed by the inclusion of Spookeez in the Erect mix category. (Please it sounds so good please listen to it.) Though I do have preferences over which tracks are my favorites, as well as those I don't prefer, the soundtrack really brought me a lot of hope. The one I will have to say is my absolute favorite by far? The Erect Mix of High by KawaiSprite and surprise guest Kohta Takahashi. (No wonder it sounded so good!!)

With that in mind, my plan is to occasionally, depending on my mood, dip my toes back into the FNF music category and get back into making music that sounds good again. Will I be allowing its usage in mods or fan content? No, not as of right now. But I will be allowing for downloads and views, if that sounds good with everybody. I'm still very distrusting of the fanbase and all the problematic people this game unfortunately gathered. I also want to focus more on music inspired by the website I now hold dear - Newgrounds. I will be considering more remixes of Newgrounds themes like Endless Handbag and whatever else catches my fancy here.

Oh yeah, I'm still taking remix requests if you're looking for the BBS thread on that. Again, this isn't gonna be instantaneous, nor is making music quick and easy the way I roll. It's gonna take a bit of time, will have ups and downs, as all artists do, but I hope to consistently make good music no matter what it is. I just hope those who like what I make will still hold on in this wild rollercoaster of life. For those who've been by my side since the start, thanks for sticking around as always, fellas. I'll make sure to upload some new stuff soon.
