Btw Heavy & bomb are Sega game characters, they originate from Knuckles chaotix on the Sega 32x. So did Espio & charmy. Vector originally was planned for the very first sonic game back in 1990 & was created by Naoto Oshima himself! ☺️ Just in case you didn’t know hehe.
A lot of Archie sonic characters were indeed created by kennith the pen asshole penders (ruined my childhood, but somewhat made it at the same time.) But there’s a lot that ken didn’t create, like Trash the devil & Dr Finitevus. Which Sega does own the rights to, I know Trash for sure as he was created by my man Ian Flynn, but as for Finitevus I don’t know if Karl Bollers copyrighted him or not. Sega of Japan could easily win back the rights to all the characters that ken created but they don’t even care to try. Noir would they use them really. They don’t like to acknowledge the American side of Sonic, even tho America is the main place that has kept sonic alive for so long. Hell sonic debuted in The U.S before japan! They don’t even use the things created for the Japanese continuity, the main continuity! Like the characters created by Shinichi Higashi aka Touma. & we wonder why Sega lost there crown in the first place, jeez. Again sorry for it being so long, it’s just so stupid how Sega of Japan won’t use all the amazing things given to them. If the characters I’m trying to have merchandise made of aren’t gonna appear in the games, then a least make some merchandise every now & again just so we have something’s of official physical form for some of our favorite characters. They know people are gonna buy merch of them, but they need a reason. Let’s just hope we can try & make this happen. ☺️

Oh shit, thanks for telling me! I didn't know Heavy and Bomb originated there as well. All I really knew about was the main gang (Vector, Charmy, Espio, and Mighty). Also I kinda knew Vector was supposed to be part of Sonic's band in the original Sonic 1 game's drafts. I'm surprised Sega hasn't taken back control over some of the characters but you know their policy is lax. Which again I understand a lot of the time cause you know you should be able to have creative freedoms without having to pay royalties or anything. But I wish they would acknowledge their older characters (the Freedom Fighters lead by Sally *ahem* Satam). I'll sign your petition and try and help make it happen!

@TheMusicalManiac Speaking of sonic 30th anniversary, it’s about we get more merchandise of more obscure sonic characters. I gonna try to start a petition to get see if Jakks Pacific can make figures & possibly plushies of Fang, Bean, Bark, Ray, heavy & bomb. With Sega giving them permission to do so. They made a really good figure & plush of Mighty so I want to see if we can get some more. Yeah I know it’s a little fan servicey but there some of my favorite characters in the franchise & some of them don’t even have merch or it’s to expensive to get. Jakks recently renewed the sonic license & thank god cause it give me a chance to try & make this a reality (I hope). What do say you wanta help me make that happen?

I like how you think. Heavy and Bomb might be tough as I'm not sure if they originate from Sega's creation or if that was Archie only. With Archie apparently the contract is a bit iffy (thanks Ken Penders, you bastard). But with Fang, Bean and Bark we can definitely get ahead with! (As they were in Sonic the Fighters!) Mighty and Ray they're (SEGA) definitely gonna make merch with but so far as I've seen no Jax's Toys stuff yet, might have to check. I'll sign your petition, and I know a lot of people will sign it too. I think it would be a great idea to start the petition on Change.org. You can make petitions for free and that everyone can sign with no need for donations. (If you're looking for Donations, though I don't recommend this, go to Kickstarter.)
